I am 18 years old and am currently on my gap year hoping to study Biological Sciences at UCL next year.

I have monostotic Fibrous Dysplasia in my right Femur. I was diagnosed in 2012 but have had issues since 2008, including multiple fractures, breaks and operations. I've always been very active and when I learned of this FD it was difficult for me so I turned to swimming. Through this event, I hope that I can build up my fitness and confidence while also supporting my FD community and helping them through their own hardships.
